Sons & Loved Ones

I've occasionally worked from the photographs of my sons, Neil and Charlie, brother-in-law, Ben, and other loved ones. I enjoy looking at slideshows from their trips and am occasionally drawn to paint them. Neil's are on pages for The Netherlands and "Up & Down" and Charlie's are show below.

My niece, Caedmon, rode her bicycle across country from San Francisco to the Atlantic Ocean and kept a blog that included photos. I painted a series of her trek using watercolors—a rare medium for me—and put them into a video. Please note that the individual paintings don't appear on this website, because they are not oil paintings.
